PROTECTIONBOARD

Membrane protection

  1. PROTECTIONBOARD - Protectionboard is a one-piece process extruded sheet consisting of two flat sheets connected by vertical ribs. Made from polypropylene copolymer it has physical durability and chemical resistance properties that make it ideal for a wide range of uses. It is available in a comprensive selection of colours, ultra-violet ray stabilised, and in a variety of weights and thicknesses.
  2. CHEMICAL PROPERTIES - Protectionboard has excellent chemical resistance properties. There are however, two types of chemicals that should be avoided:
    1. Solvents or stress cracking agents for PP such as chlorinated solvents and some hydrocarbons.
    2. Strong acids or oxidising agents. Specific information is available on request.
  3. WEATHERING -  UV Stabilised Protectionboard has an unexpected outdoor life or two or more years depending on colour, degree of sunlight exposure and general weather conditions. Non UV stabilised grade is strictly for interior applications.
  4. SERVICE TEMPERATURE - Protectionboard will retain it's integrity between -20ºC to 85ºC.
  5. FOOD CONTACT - All grades of Protectionboard are suitable for food contact uses.
  6. POLYMERS -
Dimensions: Standard sheet sizes are 1800 x 1200 mm and 1800 x 900 mm. Other sizes available on request.
    Colours: Black
