TurfPave® provides
architects and developers with a grassed alternative
to unsightly concrete and asphalt pavements that is
practical, aesthetically pleasing and environmentally
friendly.
What is TurfPave®? TurfPave®
has a wide range of applications in the landscape, building
and construction and environmental remediation industries.
Positioned under the grass surface, TurfPave® distributes
loads from pedestrian and vehicular traffic to the base
course below, minimising grass and root compaction.
In addition, the interconnected cells allows roots to
develop with minimal restriction, resulting in a durable
and stable grass surface.
Applications: •
Emergency
and fire lane access. • Vehicle parking lots in commercial
developments, homes, sports complexes, festival grounds,
churches and spaces for the handicapped. • Gold cart
paths. • Pedestrian walk areas. • Street shoulder
parking. • Racetrack infield and pit areas. •
Drainage
channels. • Slope stabilisation.
Advantages: •
More
than 90% unrestricted root base area. • Supports loads
up to 150t/m2 • Higher cells
enhance vigorous root development. • Side notches allow
unrestricted runner and root growth. • Secure interlocking
resists movement and ensures TurfPave® remains in
place after installation. • Centre perforations allows
pegging to sub-base on slopes and curves. • Vertical
webs minimises girdling of roots by directing them downwards. • Flexible design conforms
to odd shapes and uneven surfaces. •
Simple
and rapid installation, minimal operator training required
with no special tools needed. • Nesting design halves
storage and transport costs.
